Light Weight and Great for Smaller Diameter Ropes
Used this device on a canyoneering trip with smaller diameter ropes and it worked like a champ. Higher friction was good for heavier loads. Super lightweight.

Great Belay Device
Defiantly more suited to smaller rope diameters. I have used some ropes in the 9mm range. Very tight fit but they will go. Great quality feel.
